Description

Zero Waste Workshop: Eco Dyeing & Embellishment

A 3-hour class crafted to complement our awareness of the changing environment. Join us at our beautiful new premises at 15 High Street in the Museum Village of Ruddington.

We look forward to sharing our knowledge, our zero waste processes and natural heritage dye techniques with you. You can then continue to develop and build upon your newfound skills to fulfil your own sustainability goals.

The workshop will begin with choosing your 30cm x 23cm* base fabric and your textile bundle from our selection of ideas and compositions. Although all your materials will be provided for your workshop, we do invite you to bring your textile treasures and your own much loved pieces to include in your design to repurpose and bring back to life.

Before benefit from our in-house textile expertise with demonstrations of slow-stitch and applique techniques and ideas.

You will create a unique final piece that can be displayed in your embroidery hoop, with the option to upgrade to purchase a British Made Oak picture hanger.

What’s provided for your Zero Waste Workshop

  • Natural dye practical: premade dye vats made from our tearoom waste
