Book a table in advance to indulge in our five-star Afternoon Tea service, Grazing Platter and Crafternoons. We’ve also got a fantastic Picnic Box Afternoon Tea for you to relish in our house baked goods in the comfort of your own home, in the office or for a picnic!

Established in 2014, as a spot to enjoy a quintessential English tea, we quickly grew our tea room menu to include freshly prepared lunches created from locally sourced ingredients and own recipe creations – working with the likes of award-winning producers, The Welbeck Bakehouse, and local food producers Kerry’s Fresh, serving their traditionally baked, artisan breads, fresh fruit and vegetables. Made and baked in-house, our menus are seasonally curated for delicious freshness.

Our food is then accompanied by a vast array of hot and cold beverages that’ll be sure to quench your thirst.

“The selection of sandwiches and cakes were absolutely delicious. It was all beautifully presented. The atmosphere was very warm and cosy. Will be making a return visit.”

Heavily influenced by vegan sustainability, our menu can also accommodate a number of dietary considerations, with dairy-free, gluten-free and nut-free alternatives to support your preferences.

Our Venue: Nottingham Lace Market

In the heart of Nottingham’s historic Lace Market, on St. Mary’s Gate, sits our Georgian Town House. Our spacious 26-seater tea room is located beyond our gallery with an ambience and atmosphere that is impeccable for working, studying or get-togethers and time-out away from the city centre bustle.

“A gorgeous place filled with gorgeous things.”

“It was great to work with Debbie Bryan and her team to organise a Pecha Kucha Nottingham event. The space is really cool, the people are very efficient and easy to work with, and there always seems to be lots of interesting people there.”

Afternoon Tea

Our Afternoon Tea has been a welcome, popular addition to our offering. An excellent way to treat yourself for any occasion, our Afternoon Tea is beautifully displayed, filled with home-made, own recipe sweet and savoury treats with tea, coffee or a cocktail to compliment your servings.

Taking time to create thematic and seasonal menus, there is plenty of choice when it comes to our Afternoon Tea offerings.

“I visited with a large group for afternoon tea. The food was lovely and the service was excellent. Our group had a range of dietary requirements and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. They were brilliant and so accommodating. We had a lovely time. I definitely recommend!”

Our sweet and savoury scones have become an essential choice to delight in, so much so, we were featured in the 2017 recipe book, the Nottingham Cookbook: Second Helpings, and 2019’s The Little Book of Cakes and Bakes. In each book, you can source our own recipe, passed through generations, with sweet and savoury recommendations to make your own delicious bake at home. You can read our story here, and our recipe here.
