This larger design highlights three interlinking, 8-petal floral designs in a repeating pattern. Made all the more complete with original pencil markings made by the highly skilled technician, this drawing gives us a glimpse of the carefully constructed design process for Nottingham Lace trim.

This drawing was salvaged from Fewkes Lace Embroidery Company, which was established in 1910, and is famous for making the lace on Lady Diana Spencers wedding dress.
