Nottingham Lace Draughtsman Drawing 24/28706

One of the larger designs, this detailed five-petal love heart flower is an unusual example and beautifully demonstrates the craftsmanship of the technical illustrator. 

This drawing was salvaged from Fewkes Lace Embroidery Company, which was Established in 1910 and they are notably the designers and makers of Lady Diana Spencer's wedding dress.

This is a historical item, used in an industrial setting, and therefore may show signs of previous handling and ageing: 1mm tear at the bottom centre and a fold through the middle.
